About the Role
Ventrix has been exclusively mandated to support a leading Software Consultancy in Central London to hire an experienced IBM Maximo Developer on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing digital delivery team working on large-scale enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions for major clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customise solutions within IBM Maximo
- Build and maintain Maximo applications, workflows, and integrations
- Develop automation scripts (Jython/Java) and extend Maximo functionality
- Integrate Maximo with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and stakeholders
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning
- Support testing, deployment, and ongoing system optimisation
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Maximo
- Proficiency in Java and/or Jython scripting
- Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
- Solid understanding of databases (Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server)
- Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP)
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Maximo Anywhere or Mobile solutions
- Knowledge of MAS (Maximo Application Suite)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Industry experience in utilities, transport, or manufacturing
